Wind Advisory

... Wind Advisory in effect from 10 am to 6 PM MST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in El Paso TX/Santa Teresa has
issued a Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 10 am to 6 PM
MST Wednesday.

A strong upper level trough will move through New Mexico and
western Texas late tonight and Wednesday morning while a surface
low develops over the northern Texas Panhandle. This storm system
will generate strong winds across the region with west winds
having sustained speeds of around 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
possible... especially along eastern slopes. Blowing dust may also
lower visibilities to under a mile over isolated locations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
